Chopard: The Cinema and The Stars
Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, Co-President and Artistic Director of Chopard, is the driving force behind Chopard’s unique relationship with the world of cinema. It was she who personally designed the Palme d’Or eleven years ago and it was she who also went on to create the Trophée Chopard in 2001 which each year since has been awarded to two new rising stars in recognition and encouragement of their talents. With previous winners of this award including the 2008 Oscar-winning Best Actress Marion Cotillard it is unsurprising that the Trophée Chopard has quickly been established as one of the film industry’s most aspirational awards.

Renowned for its original and outstanding creations, Chopard is also a well established sight on red carpets the world over - from the Oscars in Hollywood to the César awards in Paris, to the BAFTAs in London,to the Mostra del Cinema of Venice. From the most legendary of film stars to the most talented of young hopefuls, celebrated actresses across the globe have looked to Chopard to make them dazzle on the red carpet. In honour of this very special association Chopard created its first ever Red Carpet Collection in 2007. This diverse Haute Joaillerie collection of exceptional pieces was expertly created by Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele with the purpose of catering to each and every possible red carpet moment. Pieces from this prestigious collection, created once again in 2008, have adorned leading ladies on the most revered red carpets in the world as Chopard continues to forge its creative links with cinema’s most memorable moments...
